Tulsa Kung Fu has been part of the Tulsa martial arts community since 1990. Tulsa Kung Fu's founder, Master Ray Hildreth, offers a unique blend of traditional Chinese martial arts known for their time proven methods of self defense, physical fitness, and health maintenance exercises.
Kung Fu, literally translated, means skill achieved through hard work. At Tulsa Kung Fu, you will reap the benefit of your hard work in a safe, friendly, and family like environment. Over time, through our comprehensive traditional Kung Fu, Tai Chi, and Kickboxing programs, our students become empowered with a sense of self esteem, discipline, and self confidence.

At Tulsa Kung Fu, in addition to Self Defense skills, our Kids & Juniors program focuses on individual accomplishments and develops within our students mental and moral characteristics such as self-esteem, self-confidence, and self-discipline. Our Kids acquire leadership traits and a positive “I can do” attitude, and they are less likely to be targeted by Bullies.

Kung Fu is a Time Proven Method of Self Defense. As you learn the classical routines you are taught & practice their self defense applications. Our Kickboxing program is based on the Kung Fu method known as San Shou (Free Hand) or Sanda (Free Style) which utilizes strikes, kicks, throws, sweeps and take-downs from various styles of Kung Fu.

Tai Chi Chuan is a low impact exercise suitable to people of all ages & fitness levels. Originally developed as a method of self-defense in the 14th century, Tai Chi is most often practiced, today, for its health benefits. Tai Chi is often described as “meditation in motion."
